Therapeutical treatment

The most frequent dental disease is the dental caries. The main symptoms of the caries are the sensitivity of teeth towards the cold, hot, sweet food, bad odour from the mouth, also the teeth do look aesthetical. The treatment of the dental caries depends upon the level of the injury of the tooth, and it is individual in each case. The damaged tissue of the tooth is removed, and the remaining cavity is filled with a filling material that restores the form of the tooth. The longevity of the filling depends upon many factors: good mouth hygiene, the size of the filling, the position in the tooth as well as the intensiveness of chewing.

After diagnosing the caries, it is necessary to start its treatment as soon as possible, as this process soon progresses into deeper tissues of the tooth and reaches the nerve. If the tooth caries is not treated properly, complications are possible – pulpitis, apical periodontitis (nerve inflammation). Such a treatment takes a long time and is more expensive.
The clinic provides qualitative tooth filling, change of old and worn-out fillings, restoration of broken-off parts of the tooth and the crown of the tooth applying modern anesthesia as well as restoring the lost form, function and aesthetics using only the certified material and technologies of the highest quality that are available in the odontological market.
Annual preventive examination is performed FREE OF CHARGE. During the preventive examination the doctor-odontologist finds the teeth affected by the dental caries as well as evaluates the condition of the mouth cavity.  In order to avoid serious dental as well as gums diseases that often end up in the loss of the tooth, the prophylactic examination should be carried out every 6-12 months both for adults and children.

Bruxism treatment

Bruxism (grinding of the teeth) is characterized by useless involuntary chewing movements. Bruxism is caused by sudden contraction of chewing muscles and a strong clenching of jaws (usually during sleep). If not treated, bruxism may cause the occlusion derangement, pathologies of the lower jaw joint. The teeth are damaged when the chewing surface of teeth is being dulled – the teeth look unaesthetic, they become sensitive. Also the dental restoration is damaged (fillings, covers) – their longevity time is shorter.

Reasons of bruxism:

•    Incorrect position of teeth
•    Incorrect occlusion
•    Stressful situations

Consequences of bruxism:

•    Tooth dulling (of the chewing surface)
•    Tooth fractions
•    Damages of the tooth restoration
•    Damage of mucous membrane
•    Pain in the jaw joint

Treatment of bruxism

Complex treatment is applied for bruxism – odontological causes and consequences of bruxism are eliminated.
Depending upon the reason, various treatment methods are applied:
•    orthodontics (when the occlusion is incorrect)
•    aesthetic filling or prosthetics  (when the teeth are severely worn-out or their position is incorrect)
•    Kappa for bruxism (the conservative treatment of bruxism)
